Hiya!,

I was wanting to see if anyone has any hard bottom wading spots that might hold fish that they are willing to share. The way my leg is since the accident, I am skiddish on trucking through soft mud. PM me is you dont want to post any spots.

Fish pass on the bay side if you have a truck that can get there. Packery at the bridge, and how about the channel from the JFK bridge and the county park? Just some suggestions. <*/)))><

Most of the back side of Mustang & Padre is firm, go hit up Kates behind Island in the Sun Church, Bird Island Basin or Deadmans (Mustang Island State Park) miles and miles of pretty firm sandy bottom to wade.

Shamrock (to me) has more soft spots and holes than the rest.

Oso is not too bad, but with a bad leg/knee I would avoid it, lots of oysters, rocks, debris and some mud.

Agree the wade to Shamrock is soft in many places. But deadmans and kates are good as well as the area around Dimmit pier. Can be good at times. Seen more guys there lately may be picking up for spring.
Best to you
