Keep your fuel tank covered if its a see through. Sunlight is also a fuel killer when it comes to ethanol. My tank is dark gray and requires a fuel gauge.

I would bet you $ 50 bucks it's made by Gold Eagle (Sta-Bil) or Lucas...Same stuff, prettier package. Don't believe the hype !
I did not know any "fuels" were specifically made for a Mercury ! |

How much more dedicated can a product be than to be formulated AND labeled "Marine"........................... as in Marine StaBil??????

| most gas stations on spid including weber and spid have hte marine stabil on the shelf good for a few hundred gallons for 5.99 .. Dont think twice just do it.. |

It looks and smells much different than stabil or startron so I don't think its the same.
I was referring to the fuel treatment not the fuel being made for mercs!!!!!!
Wake up on the wrong side of the bed or what. Just relaying info from a guy who has been merc certified for 20+ years. |

With all of the conversation on this board as well as others, I'm wondering if anyone has had a personal bad experience using ethanol blended gasoline without any after market additive and exactly what that problem was.

| I've been using quicksilver for years along with the mercury quickleen for the motor. No problems so far. My mechanic said, that its a good product and i should be ok with the ethanol gas issues. Like their products so far. |
