Does the road that leads back into north night hawk off park rd 22 require 4x4 in any places?

Answer in a word, YES. It's possible that if you haul buns through that area you can do it in 2wd but it would be wise to have someone with you just in case.

Did that very thing a couple of weeks ago. Stay away from the dunes to the south unless you are with someone to help pull you out. Some serious soft powder back there. Did find a nice hard packed sandy spot near the water. Caught a nice 23" redfish using live mullet under a Cajun Thunder popping cork.

It gets pretty sketchy back there... I've struggled (but never been stuck Cool ) in 4-low.
