| How far out do you yak your baits out? Do you change the distance at all based on whether it is night or daytime? |

| Yes. Deeper drops for day and shorter for night sometimes makes a big diff in the heat of the summer. |

Drops are anywhere from second gut to 600+ yards
Just make sure to have enough line left on your reel for a fight. Don't worry about what reels or line everyone says to get. Just get out there and have fun. _________________ -Pat |

I think I have the gear part of the equation covered ok. How close do the large sharks come in? What makes you decide on far of a drop you are targeting? |
