There was always talk of a big push of trout moving in from the surf in the spring labeled as tide runner trout.
Years back someone did some studies tracking trout movements. Does anyone have a link to that information or any new studies?

Thanks for any info.

My buddies, Becky, and Roadkill and I helped catch surf trout for that study.

Thanks for the link Allen.
Hopefully they can do more studies in the future.
One on our local flounder would be great to see.

I think the key information was that the surf trout came into inlets but did not stay very long. I see other parameters that explain what we think are the tide runner fluxes but it's something else entirely.
