Scored him down at the Cosway pier off the long rod last Wednesday night. I left with pier bragging rights for the night Wink She was 34 inches, I thought you were allowed one drum over 30 inches?? I was told otherwise but I wasn't equipped to keep it either way as I was in town for work.

Almost right. Just missed it by 22 inches. Smile

a Black drum: No more than one black drum over 52 inches may be retained per person per day and counts as part of the daily bag and possession limit.

So if it's between 30- just under 52 then you're outta luck? Good thing there was someone there who knew more than me off the top of his head. I was thinking 52 was the max.

I know for a fact throwing back one of those oversized Black Drum can bring a grown man to tears...ask my husband when he had to release his 44" one at the Copano Bay Bridge/Pier. LOL, but not kidding!
