Im looking to know the same thing. Caught fish in chocolate milk before but never fished right after a storm

High tides usually scatter fish. Hurricane Allen 1980 opened quite a few passes and destroyed the road between Packery and 1852.Had to drive through lots of water to get to Fish Pass (Before State Park).Caught trout every cast.

Now that's the Frankie I remember!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! with the executioner in the background, WOW! I'll have to get Diane in here to see it. And yes, the beach fishing was smoking at the opened passes.

Dolly messed things up royally for several weeks. It didn't improve until Humberto came ashore north of us to reverse the dingy water coming from the south.

that is a very good picture up there. i wish i'd taken some about 2 months after hurricane allen in 1980. the redfish were nuts in the surf at george washington beach below matamoros....
