High tides usually scatter fish. Hurricane Allen 1980 opened quite a few passes and destroyed the road between Packery and 1852.Had to drive through lots of water to get to Fish Pass (Before State Park).Caught trout every cast. _________________ Life is Good |

| Dolly messed things up royally for several weeks. It didn't improve until Humberto came ashore north of us to reverse the dingy water coming from the south. |

that is a very good picture up there. i wish i'd taken some about 2 months after hurricane allen in 1980. the redfish were nuts in the surf at george washington beach below matamoros.... _________________ onward thru the fog... |
