They were fishin a channel, I slowed to an idle and krept by on the other side, the guy got all upset, I wasn't to concerned till he chucked a hook and sinker at me.

I had been working the same area an hour before and people were blasting through the whole time.

I've seen the boat out there a few times including wednesday when he blew through a channel that another boat was working Shocked

LOL, if it makes any difference I think all of you rich guys in boats suck. Not to be against you personally but try this...Take your last $20.00 after working all week to feed your family and get up at 5:00am and drive to your spot way away from everybody and quietly wade out through the mosquitos and start throwing lures and as soon as the sun starts to rise... there is Biff and Buffy in their daddys boats burning right through your line????? In my opinion, boat fishermen are wanna bees....If I took my truck into a field and ran over a 6 point buck ....am I a real hunter......LOL, really man.. If the guy acted aggressive to you, just kick his supple bum and do the jail time and pay the fine...I WOULD....
later,
Ernie

Consider yourself honored. The guy in the white shirt looks like Kenny Rogers. Man, you just got yelled at by a celebrity. Should of had 'em sing you a song at the boat ramp.

I wonder if the skull and cross bones on the motor means anything. In the old days you would drawn, quarterd and your head set on a pike for those colors.

Some of you guys need a reality check. I have a boat and I AIN'T rich.......
far from it! My rig is a crappy little 16' aluminum with bow steering that does lots of thing halfa$$ but nothing well EXCEPT for small river OR flats fishing, but at least it gets me there!!! I also respect others on and off the water but DON'T have any problem with telling someone how the "cow ate the cabbage" if/when the need arises! Wink

Jerks like the dudes in question are a big problem on some waters and you guys seem to have them in spades. I DO agree that money is an issue with some for the simple matter that all they have to do is plop down the cash for the rig, fill the ice chest[s] with beer and take off, which all too many morons do!!!!!! I'm just saying, don't paint ALL boat owners with the same brush!!! Rolling Eyes Lots of those "rich guys" are driving new rigs and fishing from new rigs while at the same time living in a trailer! Embarassed

While plenty of 'rich guys' suck, not all of them do. And while I continue to come across boat owners that are rude, some actually understand courtesy on the water.

Got a boat here, and far from being rich. Far from being a wannabe. As for your comment about driving a truck in a field to kill a deer compared to using a boat to fish, that makes no sense. I use my boat to access waters that are a pretty good distance, same way people use their truck to get to their deer lease. From then on, 90% of what i do is wading only drift in windy conditions generally. As for cheating, hell we don't sit out there and toss bait fish in the water and wait for the fish to swim up, like deer feeders do for deer.. I love how people on here like to make such broad, blanket statements about people.. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
