My brother in law and I were going to take the Scat Cat 12 hour charter today, but it was canceled, so we opted for the 8 hour on the Sea Eagle.
Water was great with waves at 1-2'. Everyone limited on Kings with the largest being 38#. Also caught was a 64# Wahoo and 63# Black tip. Several lines broken during the shark fishing portion of our time.

Thanks for the report. That's one large Wahoo!! And a nice mangrove snapper too [don't let those deckhands tell you it's a dog snapper ].
What was the reason the Scat Cat trip canceled? Too few people? You are probably better off anyways, as bottom fishing for beeliners (which would probably been the case) is not nearly as much fun as the kings you landed on this trip. |

| Sweet Wahoo! That's like the one my daughter lost last week. Was Lloyd the deck hand working? Lloyd is the man. |

Are you seeing something that I'm not in that shot? That's a shark, not an amberjack |

Looks like a great day. Still never been out for Kings yet. I notice that the size limit is 27", do you typically get alot of undersized kings on these trips, or are most of the fish easily keepers. _________________ ...if my boss ever finds this forum I'll be unemployed... |

Scat Cat cancelled due to lack of patrons for the 12 hour.
Loyd was the deckhand and did a great job. We had so much fun we went back out on today.
All of the Kings were good size, didn't see a one that was undersized. _________________ Carl
