I finished off the 2009 Federal Snapper seaon with a family trip on Friday. I had three generations, Grandma, Wife, and Daughter. It was a really great time. Grandma got her first Red Snapper.
It is hard to beleieve that we have to shut down the fishery this early. It just seems that the NMFS and the CCA have missed the mark on this issue. Oh well, it was a good season. Time to get after the tuna now.

Beautiful fish. How far offshore were you? Just asking. I know those had to put up a good fight! Congrats.
