I have this old bamboo fishing rod and reel in the garage that I have no idea how or where or when I got it. The real has the old leather thing as a drag. The name of the real is "Montague Favorite". There are no other markings to note except "George" in ink on the bamboo pole. You guys think this is worth anything? I will try to post a pick or three if I can figure out how to. _________________ Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it. -- Mark Twain |

You can donate it to the South Texas Fishing museum on Rodd Field road with all the other stuff donated from HIM......

For starters you might put a 'or Best Offer' option on the auction to get an idea what people are willing to pay. I would clean the reel up some and take a few close-up shots. _________________

Thanks guys............
I put a reserve price to see what people might be willing to pay.
I racked up the views on ebay because of this site . Sorry Tyler as I was not trying to abuse this site . _________________ Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it. -- Mark Twain |
