Learn to bowl. Not much wind and air conditioned, dont need sunscreen and bad weather is no problem. _________________ Fishing and Kayaking its a rough life but somebody has to do it. |

Repeat after me - " The wind IS my friend, The wind IS my friend." Learn to use it to your advantage. Next thing we know the dog days of August will be here and we will be praying for just a ripple on the water. |

That "windy city" crap about Chicago came from eastern yankees who moved west. There are scads of cities that blow Chicago away as far as day to day wind strength goes. Corpus is always right there at the top of the heap along with Wichita, OKC and San Fransisco _________________ Dave

Who in the heck prays for a ripple on the water? I cherish those beautiful moments when the water is like glass! I pray that it stays like that!
There are plenty of ripples 99% of the time! Quit praying for them for crying out loud!
I can catch fish wind or no wind, but I prefer calm! |

I think the "windy city" title comes from the politics in Chicago, not b/c they get a lot of wind _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |
