Can anyone lead me into the right direction? I have seen some oxygen tanks that guys use to keep there live bait alive with a big live well or bucket. Does anyone know where i can get an oxygen tank that will work like that? I have seen it many times at the packery and bob hall? lmk. Thanks. Question

Yeah, I was suckered into the $100 bottle. Oh well, at least now I have it setup so I can use it with my cooler or on the livewell on the boat.

South Texas Trolling Motors off SPID in the Bluff. They carry what you need. I just don't know how expensive they are.

If you have the time, shop around on the net.. I have read in other threads that if you get caught with a medical grade O2 bottle in your boat its a fine.. There may not be a difference but if it says medical on the bottle or regulator, its a fine... I can't remember why???? I bought my bottles at STX Trolling in the Bluff over a year ago but I get them filled at AOC here is Alice... They were about 80 dollars...

I would look around on the net or even ask around. If you have the patience, you may even find one for free.

It is the stone that is going to set you back.

I am not sure about carrying tanks around and fines. Cosway has medical bottles in their store. I think it is an exchange for $16.00.

I also read an ad in Salty Angler of some place on SPID that will fill bottle for $5.00. Can't remember name and no longer have magazine.

good advice to do a little online research. Not only the stone and tank to consider but the regulator. I recommend a pediatric regulator that operates between 0 and 4 LPM. I bought a tank on ebay for under 30 bucks, a regulator online from a medical supply place for 20 bucks, and my stone cost only 50 bucks. There's more than one type out there. So those three main components cost me less than $100.

Got mine form STX trolling motors. Got my trolling motor there too. Had to take my trolling motor in for a minor repair. I had no idea what it was at the time so they could have bent me over. They fixed it on the same day (dropped it off on a friday at 9 picked it up @ 3) for $30.00 because they remembered me.

Internet is great but trying getting that type of service out there...... Trade local if you can Very Happy .
