Let me start by saying that we NEVER go out on the holidays. But since we have not been out in a month we made an exception. I know some people had a hard time but we had a great time. The worst part was waiting for a guy that couldn't back up a trailer at the Packery boat ramp. That's OK though 'cause I was once a rookie too Very Happy . Had several great runs but kept getting cut off because I was trying to use flouro leader instead of wire. Won't make that mistake again. We ended up with 2 red snapper, 1 nice gag, a big bluefish, 8 rock hind grouper, 3 layne snapper and the season's first kingfish (34"). Also caught lot's of juvie snapper and trigger fish. The bait of choice today was pin perch. Alive or dead. Can't wait 'til next monday!!

P.S. My new prescription Costas were fantastic.
