Penn 310GTi. Is this a good reel. How big is it and what is a fair price for it? Im new to the saltwater scene and could use some help. I appreciate it. God bless and gig'em!! _________________ If the minimums werent good enough....they wouldnt be the minimums. |

I have not used the 310 but the 320, 325, 330 are super reels, cast a long way, have no problems, except every once in awhile the 330 will backlash. These reels are for bigger fish, the 310 must be for smaller fish, trout keeper reds, ect. I use penn open face reels for them, just my preference. You cant beat most penn reels, they can take the salt water and are not too expensive.
