On This Tueaday, the 21st, at 1:30pm, the city counsel will vote on the oridinance to close the beach from the South packery Jetty all the way to Balli Park.
The meeting opens at 10am, with everyone being allowed their three minutes of comments.
I wish I could be there, but that is just not an option right now.
However, anyone who can be there, go, and let them know what you think. Keep it polite, and cursing and yelling will get us no where. Tell them whether you think the closure is fair or NOT and WHY.
The people who want the beaches closed to traffic will most certainly show up in force. Those who want the beach to stay open, need to show up in numbers as well.
Anyone who can make this meeting, at all, needs to go. It will change Corpus Christi forever.
