Sad I'm starting to have problems with most of my Citica baitcasters (I have about 9 of them). The problem is that no matter how much I tighten the drag, it's still isn't enough. I've been careful not to leave them tight for extended periods of time, though sometimes I do forget. What's the fix? Is it a matter of sanding down some slicked out washers or do I have to replace the drag washers?

do you use braid? if you do use braid do you put a mono backing on them? If you have to replace the drag washers they arent too expensive..

Looks like its time to replace the drag washers. Get them from roys. Its a pretty cheap/easy fix. Jason Slocum

Yes Jason, I think the drag washers are shot.

Thanks for the advice,
