| Anyone see any tarpon lately? Especially interested if they have been spotted in port A, Bob Hall pier, or PINs. |

Sunday saw one spot of 8-10 fish (4'-5' range) that popped up twice on North Jetty tip in the afternoon. Fun to watch, though never had a chance to get a bait on them. Did catch a bunch of spanish and two kings |

| Last Tuesday at the South PA Jetty I was longcasting a spooner and got a good hit, something jumped out of the water and spit the lure. As much as I want to say I jumped a tarpon I can't be certain, it happened very fast and I was looking at the reel when I got the hit, could have been a large skipjack or maybe even a kingfish. |

I was at the Packery Jetties on monday and tuesday and I saw tarpon both days. I did not hook up with any, but finding them is only half of the battle. Getting them to eat is the hard part. On a side note I did hook up with Several kings. They are lots of fun also. One of these days I will get the oppurtunity to land another Tarpon.
