Caught this in Packer Channel by the bridge..
Thought at first great honey you caught a dog fish.. then what is this..
What in the world did you catch..
HONEY IT HAS LEGS.. and no it is not eadible. at least not in my home.

It's a searobin. It looks like the bighead searobin.

Almost looks like a "dogfish."
Whatever it is do not touch it with your hands b/c they will mess you up.

did some checking and yes it is a searobin.. initially thought it was some type of dog fish. and did not touch it..
not sure if searobins are poinsons or bad to handle. but just carefully removed the hook and sent it on its way..
reminded me of the fish out in the north east some where the came from asia that can crawl and taking over ponds and small lakes.. but not exactly that.
