LOL...from what I understand about black drum... the mortality rate is VERY HIGH when released when they're dead.


was that fish on the bottom right of the second picture released too?

I don't think that one made it. Maybe try taking the picture close to the water and then putting the fish back in it. As hardy as drum are, they still can't survive out of water for long.

come on man, you really expect us to believe you released that fish when your taking the picture in somebodie's front yard with fish guts and blood on the floor. that fish looks dead to me

lol! that looks like suburbia not the island, drum can't last the trip back home and he looks to have been out of the water for a good while, his color is gone and his scales are falling off. everyone knows where that fish went.

not to add fuel to the fire but i dont think i've ever seen trees that big on the island??....maybe i need to pay more attention to my surroundings.

I bet it is the canals in the Bluff at the end of Laguna Shores. The mess on the ground could be another fish or bait. But, I gotta say that fish looks pretty dead.
