I hit the water this morning to a bright moon, calm water and high hopes, I wasn't disappointed. Caught a mess of trout, lots of fat little fish and a few made the cooler for supper. Most fish caught on black/chart. or plum/chart. Norton sand eels. Others caugh on morning glory saltwater assassins, pink devil eyes, and gulps. Corkys, topwaters, DOA shrimp, slurp shrimp, Cocahoe minnows, and bull minnows didn't draw strikes. Its fun when they're biting good to throw everything you have and see what they like. Plum/Chart. Norton sand eels are my new favorite lure, they've been a killer bait this year. I've been putting the Norton stick in rattles in them and they truly make a difference in the number of strikes you get, also I've switch exclusively to 1/16 oz Norton screwlocks with the wide gap.
Fish were caught on east side of small inlets off Baffin's south shoreline, over scattered rocks in 2-3' of water with a meandering retrieve. Few people fishing today it seemed, but the fishing is good, and the water gin clear-at least for Baffin anyway.

Cool report. The funny thing is we had the same results today using the exact same lures and colors you did up here in Rockport - only difference is we did not throw any sand eels and did not get an hook ups on the slurp shads. _________________
