down on business thurs. and got a chance to hit the water about 2pm. open to any/all suggestions. love the surf around the jetties but looks like might be rough by afternoon. i'll fish till sundown, just don't know where. bayside too  |

| havent chkd the wind forecast but last time out the trout bite was on at bobhallpier at night. I was using live shrimp under a alameda rattler about 6 feet down and lost more keepers than i'd would have liked too. If the surf isnt like chocolate milk u may want to try there at night in the 1st or 2nd gut......also there has been lots of whiting in the surf and some being pretty large, u dont need to get very wet or wet at all depending out far u can cast as us can usually catch them close to shore. |
