Well , with a last name of Simmons, I would avoid Richard, but nobody from his generation will understand that one anyway.

There is Roger Craig Simmons, author of "Going Fishing."

There is Edward Ezekial Simmons, inventor of the electrical resistance guage.

I wanted to name a son Hezekiah, and my wife told me if we ever got a dog, I could name the dog Hezekiah or whatever. She won!!
