| i have been fishing to the PINS before but i have never fished the bay side is that side accessable for trucks? Also can we take 4 wheelers out on the PINS to fish the bay side if we can not get back there with trucks? [/b] |

The only access is at Bird Island and at Yarborough Pass and 4 wheelers are not allowed. Only 4 wheelers for Turtle Patrol and those leader Oil Field trucks down the beach.
You will need a four wheel drive vehicle to access Yarborough Pass which is near the 15 mile mark. You can take a two wheel drive vehicle into Bird Island Basin and park. You will have to pay extra on top of the park entrance to use Bird Island. |

You can also get to the middlegrounds and 9 mile hole from the back road. I would bring LOTS of good deet spray right now.

Yall don't have the GPS coordinates for the entrance and exit to the back road do ya? I keep looking for it, but don't really know where to look. _________________ JJ |
