i have been fishing to the PINS before but i have never fished the bay side is that side accessable for trucks? Also can we take 4 wheelers out on the PINS to fish the bay side if we can not get back there with trucks? [/b]

The only access is at Bird Island and at Yarborough Pass and 4 wheelers are not allowed. Only 4 wheelers for Turtle Patrol and those leader Oil Field trucks down the beach.
You will need a four wheel drive vehicle to access Yarborough Pass which is near the 15 mile mark. You can take a two wheel drive vehicle into Bird Island Basin and park. You will have to pay extra on top of the park entrance to use Bird Island.

You can also get to the middlegrounds and 9 mile hole from the back road. I would bring LOTS of good deet spray right now.

Yall don't have the GPS coordinates for the entrance and exit to the back road do ya? I keep looking for it, but don't really know where to look.
