From TO Board..

me and my son went on a dawner this morning. started out at the sticks, choppy green and very little bait made for a no fish morning. current was strong moving north. you couldnt see any grass but in ten minutes your line would be beached with about 10lbs of stinky old grass. must have been a massive party on the beach. for about 1/2 mile stretch i could not beleive the trash. from the dunes to the waters edge. nothing but beercans, BOTTLES, old bar-b-que pits. it was real nasty. oh and one exibistionist.

It is a fact that the RAINBOW PARADE, RAINBOW GET TOGETHER, RAINBOW SHOW AND TELL, RAINBOW GET OUT OF THE CLOSET UNION WAS RESPONSIBLE. Several of my friends told me that they saw them just north of the sticks.... They told me that trash was everywhere... I dont' have a problem with the RAINBOWS BUT dang, trashing the beach...come on... What could be done if anything...

How about a rainbow bomb for the rainbow gathering?

I cancelled out of a school administrators workshop in Austin this week and one of the reasons is the Gay pride parade they sponsor. Austin= SanFrancisco east.

Same here.

I will just leave it as God made Adam and Evem, not Adam and Steve.

And I don't care what group it is, anyone who trashes the beach in that manner is lower than low.

I was there yesterday There was enough aluminum there to make a jet airliner or three I joked and thought it was a AA get together in that one spot(that's a joke, no offense to AA) I guess it was on Memorial day Never heard of Rainbow The water sure looked nice but not much activity Heading to PINS anyway I cannot believe all of the construction in the past year out there Isle have to dig out some old hurrricane pics

I was driving through that day, it was ridiculous, all kinds of craziness going on. It took about 30 min to get through since the road was so narrow and once you were in no place to get around to get out. They had the water to the dunes packed in (no pun intended Shocked

) I was glad my kid was asleep so I would not have to explain whys guys were practically having sex on the beach with a bunch of people watching them Evil or Very Mad

Maybe what we need to do is contact the orgnizers of the event and "suggest" they go back and clean up their mess. If not we will be out there next year with cameras taking pictures for all to see.

I was out that day as well. I have never seen so many people in one spot. A thoroughly disgusting scene. Glad I didn't have any little ones to have to explain.
