The water was smooth and clear. I caught a 27 inch red on my second cast, and he hit the shrimp/lemon rig combo on the run. That was a blast ....... then essentially nothing for 4 hours. One 16 inch trout was the remainder of the catch. Friends caught one sheepshead and one jackfish. Disapointing, but i suspect it will turn on in the next day or so.
