Gotta question regarding the large amounts of rain and the fishing down there (you experienced hands take it easy on an FNG for asking what might amount to a stupid question ):
How will all the rain/drainage affect the fishing along the beach next week? Planning a trip for my birthday and am hoping to score something descent on the sand. Will the conditions be off or does it really matter? Thanks alot. _________________ "Careful man, there's a beverage here!" -- The Dude |

The rain should pack the sand down, driving should be very highway like.
It also tends to cloud up the surf, and put alot of weed in the water again from the high tides washing over the dead weed line.
However, if it moves out quick enough, conditions could improve drastically by the weekend. The water just needs a little time to clear out. Wish I could be down therre this weekend! _________________ GOBZA!!!

Its really gonna help the Laguna Madre fishing. The fresh water influx will bring the salinity levels back down & once the water clears up look out! _________________ -STAY THIRSTY MY FRIENDS!- |
