I remember the rod building seminar he had at Breakaways shop in portland. What a hoot. Learned a lot and forgot most, but I will never forget him. RIP Artie.T.

Fished and drank with Artie a few times back when I was a member of the Austin CCA group. Brings back some memories.

There was only one Artie and he will be missed.

Artie was a gentleman. He may have been rasied rough, but he always had the native intelligence to separate truth from bullsiht. This is such a rare commodity in an human being that we shoulld all rejoice that we have had the opportunity to know such a marvelous person.
Artie could fish. Does anyone wanto to deny it? Artie cculd also laugh. Please remember that. Artie also was a peacemaker. Please do nnt forget that.. He is irreplaceble and precious. Those of who were lucky to have known him are truly blesseed.
Artie, yyou were the only insomniac llike me. I love you and Rob so.
