I spent the day with guide Billy Trimble and fly fished for reds. We had a great day and I saw so many fish that it was simple hard to believe. I promised not to divulge the location. So no bridge pictures this time.
He taught me quite a few things about fly fising for these redfish that will help me. Not just the fishing part either. I picked up some good poling tips that will help a bunch.
The fish eary and shallow were spooky and hard to catch. The fish later and in a little more water were easier to get to bite. A few times i could look in all directions and see tailing pods of redfish.

I recognize that blade of grass under the water just below your left hand. Thanks for the tip. We'll all see you at that same spot tomorrow. _________________ A flute without holes, is not a flute. A donut without a hole, is a Danish. |
