Has anyone tried a shrimp/Gulp strip combo for pomps?
I am having a hard time finding Fishbites in my area and I will probably be getting to PINS too early for any of the Corpus stores to open.
Thanks, Andrew _________________ Andrew J. Jones |

I've only tried it once, but it worked. I used the 2" Gulp shrimp on my normal pomp hooks. _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |

We got Fishbites on our last trip at 1;00 am at the Super Wal Mart on crosstown expressway in Coprus. They had only shrimp and clam . Hope this helps

Livtoday2,
Nice Avatar. Guess you're about to put that little guy on a hook and use him for bait to catch a real fish right? _________________ Big Ed

I couldn't lose a Gulp Strip last week in the surf. They were stealing all my ghost shrimp off. I have elastic thread now... _________________

And Fishbites is a SPONSOR and has been from day one. Good stuff, even the dried up old ones work though they are not as pretty as the new ones. For some unknown reason I like the orange and chartreuse best others like the white and the pink

I agree that the GULP strips are pretty worthless, but the shrimp do work _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |

I thought about that after posting.
I had rather get the Fishbites, because I know they are good and because they have supported you guys forever. _________________ Andrew J. Jones |

| For me the Gulp strips (prepackaged) are NOfish bites. I have caught a few on them when combined with shrimp but zero without the shrimp. Stick with the fishbites (pink or chartruese) |

| Those Gulp fish strips suck. Not even close to fishbites. |
