Pretty much everybody had their fun in the Sea Fog last week, and have already gone home. There are a few TX Colleges that have a later Spring Break, but it's been light (and awful weather on the beach!!! Laughing Laughing ), so by the First Week of April, you should be Golden.

Only draw-back is the sand conditions. In places, the crowds have left their normal havoc (and so long as you got a 4WDR vehicle, you should be good).

Haven't made the trip from Access Rd. 6 to PINS in a few days, but it was 'spotty' in places then.

When I drove from Bob Hall all the way down to the bollards yesterday and once you got past the soft sand coming on there by Bob Hall everything else was solid all the way. The closer you got down towards pins though the more flotsam was on the sand so you had to be driving very carefully.

We were looking for a sand dollars and interesting other stuff and not much on the beach. Found one piece of driftwood that look pretty cool. Here's the before and after.

Glad it's better. I knew the tides went to the dunes recently, and tamped down all the sand (except for by Bob Hall and all the traffic there).

I like your driftwood piece, but I'm going back and forth between a 'dolphin' or a 'goose'?!?! Either way, nice job on it.
