Seems like its been a while since i've seen any reports from anywhere down there. Planning a long overdue trip down there this week. thanks

It's been a strange spring season so far. There's been little consistency in the nearshore/surf to really allow a good pompano or mackerel run.But this week is looking gradually better so if you go you'll do well. They're out there waiting!

I'm pretty sure this is as late as Glenn's ever gone into the season before making a BTB run but I but that stops this week Mr. Green

Just to drop a 'Wet Wool Blanket' on this subject, but check the video feeds and then make your final decisions. The 'Brown Floating Plant Material' has returned, in force this year, after nearly a decade of it being absent.

Not the 3 foot high drifts of days of old, but certainly enough to make surf fishing in the first 3 guts pretty tough. Just say'in.
