I never did trust that bridge after walking under it and noticing all of the bulkhead washing away...

Looks like they are going for two temporary fixes.

Back in the day, it was an all wooden bridge that was barely wide enough for 2 good-sized vehicle to pass each other going in the opposite direction. But leave it to the City to bust out the duct tape, bailing wire, and chewing gum for a 'fix', and consider it 'GOOD"!!!!!
Anybody looking forward to going over the updated Harbor Bridge for the very first time when it finally opens?  |

| Considering every time I go over the OLD harbor bridge I expect it to fall down, maybe the new one will at least not have parts falling off of it. |
