I worked through lunch and after work the flats were calling. When I was nearly to the launch I spotted a rainbow ending at my destination and knew I could find some gold there. Several fish were released and these two bruisers followed me home for dinner.

Thank you, I believe it's mostly because I quietly paddle shorelines for miles looking for the right signs rather than staying in one area. The fish are rarely in the same place day after day, so I do what they do: keep searching shorelines for the next "pot of gold". |
