South Packery jetty has been producing reds and kings in the morning for the last few weeks. Some days are better than others. But fairly consistent. Bait is plentiful at the jetties. Expect 43 million anchovies to be swimming around. Skipjack are also thick. Any live shrimp you may throw out will get demolished by the biggest skipjack you have ever caught.

Thanks for the update Fred. We usually fish the North but maybe try the South this time also. If we dont have any luck we can always eat anchovies for lunch! Even some big skipjacks sound like fun.

Im not 100% sure of the actual type of fish. Probably a shad of some sort. But they were THICK. Millions swimming around.
