I asked a friend of mine about him. He knows Donnie real well being that he named his daughter after my friend's wife. Said doesn't know why he's not posting but he's doing okay and they've seen him at church.

Good to hear he's "around"

A couple of others I've kinda thought about and have not seen lately are Doug (DeputyDawg) and Colin (TowboatTrash)

I can second Donnie is doing alright, talk to him occasionally and check in with him. Have not heard from Doug in a little bit, hope he is doing ok.

Need to write up a good solid report one of these days, it has been a while and I never got around yet to writing about Rawalts Spanish ship

Thanks for the concern , my friends, sad news is my fishing bud, Amy, my 46 year old daughter died fairly suddenly in February, 2022, took the wind out of me for a while. Just talking with my oldest baby boy, he and i and his family will be on the sand tomorrow.

Thanks - my oldest son and his wife and daughter met me on the sand today, we had a great trip, lost some big fish, saw a pretty good size shark plowing through the water , fast. Neither of us had been out in a while and our gear was rigged up tourist style - and that doesnt work when the big fish come out to play. What a trip !
