I'll ID it as 'live bait' - will that work? |

Does this count as farm raised Sheepshead?
I am really amazed that it has thrived in a small home aquarium after being caught as a wild juvenile. When it was younger, I would agree the fins suggest Tripletail, but the stripes aren't common with them. I was also leaning on Sheepshead or Drum.
But absolutely amazing job raising one in captivity successfully! Don't eat it; see how long it will survive that way. If it makes it over 10 years, donate it to TSA.

For a moment there, I was going to suggest it may be crossbreeding between piggies and sheeps. _________________ All things will pass. Have a Blessed day. |
