Back in the early 80's my father had a 21' aluminum flats boat made in Rockport by an old boat maker named Roselle or Runnel.. something like that.
It had a T-top or K-top that you could stand on and scout for fish..
He had a 225 Merc black max on the back and that thing would fly on the water.

I loved that boat, and now that my father is on the way out I've thought of finding it and bringing it home. It was sold in Corpus Christi around 1983/84.
Its a long shot but if anyone has a line on a boat by this maker I'd appreciate it!

A search of a couple of databases did not turn up any brands that matched your names.

I only was able to browse thru page 15 of this database (but I did look at all that started with a three-letter designation R**):

https://boathistoryreport.com/directory/manufacturers/

At the bottom of this page is a pop-up menu of 1,841 boat brand names:

https://www.nadaguides.com/Boats/Manufacturers

Note: Some of our Texas brands are not listed (El Pescador, Diablo, others?)

Again, nothing that matched.

Where is Mike Haffman when you need him? He might remember. I heard that he retired to Rockport, a couple of years before Harvey hit.

I remember one of the boats he described sitting in a used boat lot (defunct gas station) on the south end of Rockport back in the 90s,
and I tried some google searching "used Rockport aluminum boat" images but couldn't find anything quite like it.

The metal boat described by the OP resembles one Walter Fondren had in Port O'Conner in the early 80s. However, I can be no help in identifying the manufacturer.

Didn't Ron Hoover back in the day dabble in building aluminum boats? Maybe ask some of their older guys.
