What a golden opportunity I had tonight! I really enjoyed the presentation by Dr. David McKee on Corpus Christi's lure making history. How very knowledgable and well, presented. I could, have listened to him for hours on end. It was hosted by the CC Parks Dept. at the Oso Bay Wetlands Perserve. If you ever get a chance, jump on it! ........cC

Maybe Corpusfishing.com can be a co-sponsor next time for advertising purposes?

A buddy of mine had seen it on face book. If it is on face book, that is the only way that I would ever know it, I Just don't go there. Caleb, the guy from the Oso Bay Wetlands preserve had mentioned he tried putting it on 361 Fishing face book, but was unsuccessful. They have a program every third Thursday and some inbetween. The place only hold 24 guest. Next month it will be on oyster aquaculture. .......cC

It was really neat to see that collection, the stories behind them, and the people that made them. That plastic dipped real shrimp was nuts! Found out about it from my wife that goes there regularly for the birds. We really had a great time.
