Made a short trip today, as the dentist back in town had a hot-n-ready drill ready for my back molar for 1500 hours sharp.
I'm still here, so I guess I lived.
Beautiful day.
Time to put it on 'em! No hiking, no shenanigans, no shelling or the rest today. Straight fish.
Hit em with the 52MR11!! Oh-and the GWeb Custom Rods special.
And we needed some food for the house, so it got to be pomp time.
And as the frontal boundary rolled south, the black drum showed up.
Begone pipsqueak!
And the pomps finally got bigger.
That's all I got. I imagine this front tonight/tomorrow will likely "alter" things a bit. Ya'll take care and tight lines.

I do believe Tyler himself is the authority on that subject!

| Good report, always enjoyed your photos. I have been curious whether Padre Island national seashore was still open with the government shut down but I guess so? I remember a few years ago they had it locked up during a government shutdown. Was thinking about launching my boat there Sunday or Monday at Bird Island basin. Thanks for any update. |

PINS is open, the traffic rangers are certainly on duty. I believe the road to bird island basin is open, i was by there couple times , in the last 5 days. _________________ Don - permanent prescription of salt water therapy. |

Check Nick Meyer on Facebook. He posted a "how to" on smoking pomps... _________________
