Where are they? I havent had a pickup in my last 3 trips down pins? Before the bryozoan plague and upwelling hit I was getting 2 to three hookups per day trip.

I am guessing that means following them for easy pickings for food?

I got one yesterday. Blacktip 4ft 11in. About 11 miles down the National seashore. Put up a little fight. Super exciting as this is only our second big shark

Third gut. The surf was pretty rough so I got dumped the first time out at the 3rd bar. second run dropped in the 3rd gut and then paddled out through the fourth just to challenge myself. I made it Very Happy .

There is a guy that many here may not have known, Mr. David Williams, AKA, Beach Bum that mentioned in 2001 on the great coastal shark fishing website that the bite if off starting July 15th when the federal shrimping season begins.

Heard David is fishing again. Learned a lot from him.
