| Interesting. I would have never thought the two were linked except this Saharan dust has given me my own red-tide like symptoms. |

do they realize that this is reinventing the wheel? that research has already been done in Florida by Karen Steidinger's lab (where do you think it got it's name?) and by researchers at College Station....
we already know these things...

The "iron" link goes WAY back, too! There were thoughts of 'seeding' unproductive areas (WAY LARGE, MIND YOU), with iron to stimulate plankton production in places it would not normally be found.
See "oligotrophic ocean regions".
But I still say "GO AWAY, YEE THAT SHALL REMAIN NAMELESS"!!!! A POX ON YOUR THECA!!!! |

Has anyone recently started feeling crappy?? About 2 days ago on Friday morning I woke up with an itchy throat and have had a little cough and runny nose. Now today (Sunday) I have the same symptoms but throat is a bit more sore. I bet it has to do with this damn Saharan Dust!! _________________ Come out & gig some flounder with Straight to The Point Guide Service!! http://floundergiggin.com/ for more info

New crop of researchers. Too busy to read past research. Gotta do it over and call it new.
I remember an Ecotoxicologist at the University who was talking about this almost 20 years ago. _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |
