This was a smallest one at 23 in. Picture doesn't do it justice.
Was working the sand pockets in about 2 feet of water. Saw this nice pocket and put down my power poles so I can work all sides of it. Went to the left of it and nothing. Brought the lure back through the middle of it again nothing. Got the right side of the Sand pocket and Bam this nice 23-in. Caugh two others that were 25 in and 27 in. The 27-inch was awesome to catch. It was a tail walking head-shaking big mama. All released. |

| Went back out to the same place today for topwater Action. Nada! Yesterday in that area water was crystal clear today it was about a foot-and-a-half visibility at most. Can barely see the sand Pockets. The area on the east side of the gut along the king Ranch Shoreline had a lot better water. But I wasn't after fishing up there and came home early |
