Motor info:
Fast Burn 385 which uses the proven ZZ4 350 cubic inch short block and ads to it the fast burn aluminum cylinder heads for approximately 9.61:1 compression with 385 hp at 5,600 rpm and 385 ft./lbs. of torque at 4,000 rpm. Recommended max rpm is 5,800. Installed into these 4-bolt main blocks are internally balanced forged steel crankshafts, 5.7 in. powdered metal connecting rods and hypereutectic flat top pistons with offset pins, which are the same pistons, used in the Corvette LT1 engines. Camshafts are hydraulic roller and rated at .474 in. intake lift, .510 in. exhaust lift with duration at .050 in. being 208 for intake and 221 for exhaust. Stamped steel self aligning rocker arms with 1.5:1 ratios are installed on Chevrolet Performance aluminum Fast Burn Heads with 62cc combustion chambers, 210cc intake runner volume "Fast Burn" combustion chambers with 2.00 in. lightweight hollow stem intake valves and 1.55 in. sodium filled exhaust valves. LT4 Corvette valve springs and light weight retainers are used. These heads have "D" shaped exhaust ports and have dual bolt pattern intake manifold and valve cover configurations. Intake manifolds are aluminum dual plane square bore only carburetor flanges similar to Edelbrock Performer RPM Vortec manifolds. They have provisions for an externally plumbed hot water passage underneath the carburetor for improved cold weather drive ability. GM HEI large cap distributors with internal ignition coils are used. Additional parts supplied with this kit are 8 in. harmonic balancers (degreed), 12 3/4 in. automatic flexplates, and 4-quart oil pan with windage trays. Painted valve covers with oil cap and grommets provisions for PCV and breathers. Composite (plastic) front timing cover and spark plugs to complete the install.
has been camed-up.
Suspension is after market tublar control arms etc.....

I know that, but we are talking about all the special things in the motor and lots of horsepower, etc... And, the real proof of the pudding is in the 0 to 60 time. For example, an off the lot nissan maxima will do 0 to 60 in 5.8 seconds which means it is a lot faster than a lot of souped up v8 muscle cars with all kinds of high performance parts in the motor. Just want to know how quick it really is, not how many special parts it has or how much horsepower it has.
PS: I had a 66 Chevelle 327 SS with corvette fuel injected heads and 375 horsepower. Top rpm was around 9 grand until I finally blew it up. It was the first chevy motor that had more hp that cubic inches. All of that didn't matter much if it wasn't quick. And, it was damn quick, 0 to 60 in 4.3 seconds. _________________ Now that food has replaced my sex life I can't even get into my own pants!!!!!!!!

And for the coast, how is the a/c? And for South Texas, does it have hydraulics low-rider capabilities? Blue LED rope lights on undercarriage?
Seriously, though, year-specific antique/classic plates? |

man. This reads like a recipe swaddled in a love letter.
Sounds like a take on the classic 383 combo (350 block with a 400 crank) which was good for torque.
385hp sounds a little on the conserative side to me.
Next, maybe a little tiny 100hp shot of NOS?
