I wish the weather man would have gotten the weather right. Set up an appointment to donate blood today with the assumption that it was going to be rainy today and clear tomorrow. Looks like the reverse. After donating blood I went by my grandson's house and my son came in for New Mexico and we played around with the grandkids and greatgrandkids. Awesome late morning. Got home and had about an hour before I had to go pick up my wife's car from the repair shop. Caught this 19 inch trout on the first drift. Opens really cool was that I was reeling in an undersized trout and it was shaking his head and threw my lure. as soon as it threw it I feel a hit. Turns out a 19" came by and grabbed it. I'll trade a 14 for a 19 any day

Wind started picking up a little bit more and the Water started getting a little churned up. I was just about ready to go in after getting a phone call that the car was ready when I got a hit. Hoping it was a keeper size trout started reeeling it in and then all of a sudden it decided to turn and run from me. Turns out it was a 31 in red. Biggest one since I've been back so far

Nice fish Z. Those big reds will let you know about it when they figure out something's wrong. Thanks for report.

Awesome fish - both very healthy looking. We have a good season ahead of us.

Hey Z , nice catch! Next time on the weather forecast thing, try doing what I do...watch all three local weather forecasts and divide by three.
