If anyone might be interested there is a tournament this weekend in Brownsville at the Boca Chica Beach.
I believe it is sponsored by The police department and/or law enforcement organizations. A friend sent this poster picture for information.
I am not affiliated with the program but thought I would post up.
Let's see if the weather hold up.

Do you have to fish Boca Chica Beach only?

Yes, it is limited to Boca Chica beach only as far as I know.
There is a good amount of area to cover.
To the South, mouth of the Rio Grande river,
Middle some structure an old ship wreck,
North the jetties.
Tight Lines Amigos....

About how many miles does that cover? Just wondering for crowds to expect etc. |

I don't have my GPS with me but from the entrance....
South 7miles?????
North 4miles?????
Just guessing........
There is a limit of 2 poles per entry and they are SLOT REDS excellent.
Search for Boca Chica, TX in Cameron County
