| Mary went and did the heart walk this morning with some of her friends and I decided to go fishing after she left. Didn't get out till 8 but I wanted to do some top Waters anyway. Fished nearby shorelines and the topwater bite was crazy. Second cast got a 21 inch trout. Caught numerous trout after that and some Reds and some mega size skipjack. On topwaters skipjack were a lot of fun. Going to hit it again tomorrow but this time be out on the Water by 7. Topwater bite and regular by it slow down about 9. Freezer is full so I'm not keeping any fish these days |

Dang the freezer is full?! Time for another one.
The state record skipjack is only 26.5 inches (i believe) so that may have been attainable for you. Wish I wasn't out of town for so long it sounds like the bite is hot. |

| Alright Z, thanks for report. Let us know if it's still happening. We might get out tomorrow. Think maybe some big reds moved in from gulf with the high water. GL. D |
