From my short 7 year stint in CC:
August - hot as heII, but you can get super crystal clear water at the jetties for smacks, kings on the slide line, tarpon, and all sorts of amazing reef fish when snorkeling!
September - big schools of reds in the backyard, plus a lot of the same jetty conditions as August
