...but today's weather is the stuff of nightmares.

We got a little window for kayaking offshore and I made the most of it, as I wanted to see if the offshore fish were still here a week before Thanksgiving. Yes, they were all still here and they were hangry!

Several big sharks were breaching, and I had a bonita savagely attacked near the kayak. The tax man gave me a big shower and ate not only the tuna, but also my lure and the entire wire leader. I wasn't going to get a sleigh ride from that one, but I did come ashore with a huge load of fish. I released several big kings and a 37" cobia. You know storage space is tight when I release a legal cobia Very Happy

Professor just curious what do you do with the jacks? I've often wondered if they were worthy of the dinner table.

Wait a minute, wait a minute!

The video was only 41 seconds long. Is the rest coming?

Sorry, you just have us so spoiled with long videos. Sure sounded like an awesome trip.

Keep them coming....

The jacks I keep go to Roy's for store credit. Rocky and I have an arrangement and it makes my tackle addiction less expensive.

I had two video cameras with me and after I got home I realized one had the memory card left out ...and the other fried itself out on the water and didn't capture anything. I spent the whole trip turning cameras off and on, talking to myself and thinking I had the makings of a great last video of the season. Crud! Oh well, I will be sure both cameras are working on the next trip. I enjoy making the videos, but this trip is destined to just be good personal memories and fish for the family.
